Important: Companion provides non-medical health management consulting. We do not diagnose, treat or prescribe. Any consultation, acupuncture or treatment takes place inside a licensed medical institution, delivered by licensed practitioners.
Bringing your records is easy. Getting them read is not. A twelve-page discharge summary in English or German will be skimmed, not studied — unless it arrives in Chinese, in the order a Chinese clinician expects.
We translate in both directions. Inbound: your history, imaging reports, medication list and discharge summaries into Chinese, laid out so a doctor can scan them in the ninety seconds the appointment allows. Outbound: the Chinese notes, prescriptions and follow-up instructions back into your language, so you know what was actually said after you have left the room.
Terminology is checked against the Chinese clinical term, not substituted with the nearest everyday word — a distinction that matters most in dosages, units and drug names. Layout, page order and any stamps or headers are preserved, because hospitals sometimes reject a translation that does not look like the original.
